Who’s got the best team in Michigan?
That has now been settled. No. 6 Michigan made the short trip to No. 24 Michigan State on Saturday and came away with a 21-7 victory. The Wolverines defense dominated, keeping the Spartans to just 94 total yards and 0-for-12 on third-down attempts.
One of the reasons for Michigan’s dominant defense so far this year has been DL Chase Winovich.
After the 14-point win, Winovich talked some smack:
"We knew they couldn't hang with us… Sometimes your little brother starts acting up, and you just gotta put them in place."

Those are some strong words, however, Michigan — and Winovich — backed it up on the field. There’s not much Michigan State can say.
Not until next year.
