Michigan-Illinois is set for a noon ET kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Illinois’ Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on ABC.
Michigan is 4-1, while Illinois enters with a 2-3 record. Michigan has Shea PAtterson running the show offensively, while Illinois has Brandon Peters. Peters did get hurt in the team’s last game and his availability is uncertain for the upcoming B1G matchup.

However, if Peters does play against Michigan, he will be going against his former team. Peters transferred over the offseason via graduate transfer.
Leading up to the game, some former Wolverines are looking forward to the potential matchup:
“I’m excited to hit a quarterback that was on my team,” Michigan defensive end Jordan Glasgow said on Monday. “He was a good friend of mine while he was here and it’s going to be fun to play against him. Hopefully we put him on his back a lot. Hopefully nothing happens (injury-wise) but I want to make his day as rough as possible.”
Here’s Wolverine OL Jon Runyan Jr., who roomed with Peters:
“I’m happy for him,” Runyan said. “Great guy, great friend, wish him nothing but the best.”
