Mickey Joseph details what’s in store for Nebraska following season finale vs. Iowa

Mickey Joseph knows as the interim head coach that changes are coming for the Nebraska program and he has done what he could to help keep the Huskers focused this year after Scott Frost was let go. So far this season, Joseph is 2-6 with wins over Rutgers and Indiana.
Last week against Wisconsin at home, the Huskers built an 11-point lead in the 4th quarter but ultimately would fall short in a 15-14 finish. Joseph acknowledged that after the last game against Iowa this Friday things will be looked at from a roster standpoint.

The Nebraska coaching search is looming after another rough season and Joseph understands that despite all that his job remains the same for the game against the Hawkeyes.
Iowa is currently leading in the B1G West standings and will be the toughest division game for the Huskers this season. The Hawkeye defense has only allowed 13.5 points per game and despite their offensive issues have won 7 games. Iowa is also 5-3 in the B1G.
"After Iowa, some decisions are going to have to be made," Nebraska interim coach Mickey Joseph says in reference to the players on his roster.
Joseph says he plays to spend Saturday on the couch.

Joseph has had one of the most challenging coaching jobs this season and has to contend with several key injuries including starting quarterback Casey Thompson that hampered an already struggling team. There are several rumors about who will take the job next but for now, it’s Joseph’s team and he plans on finishing strong.
Scott Green has been covering and following college football since 2017. After primarily covering the Georgia Bulldogs, Scott began to branch out and build relationships with other national media members. He played football and graduated from the LaGrange College in 2014. He currently is enlisted in the Georgia Army National Guard after deploying with them in 2019 to Afghanistan.
