Mike Danna, former Michigan DE, records strip sack in final minutes of first half vs. Las Vegas

Mike Danna made his impact in Kansas City’s strong start against Las Vegas Saturday evening.
The former Michigan and Central Michigan defensive end halted Las Vegas’ last minute attempt for points ahead of the halftime break, forcing his way to Jarrett Stidham for a strip sack. The Chiefs were able to grab a field goal in the remaining seconds to lead the Raiders 24-3 at the half.

Danna is a backup defensive end for the Chiefs and has not started yet this season for the AFC powerhouse. He is playing with veteran Frank Clark currently out of the game with an injury.
The former Michigan standout played with the Wolverines in 2019 after 4 years at Central Michigan. He was taken by the Chiefs in the 5th Round of the 2020 NFL Draft and has 77 total tackles with 9.5 sacks across his 3 years in the NFL.
