Mike Locksley is confident his Maryland Terrapins can play the same consistent ball in November that got them to bowl eligibility this season.

Maryland is set to take Wisconsin (4-4) in Madison in Week 10. They will then take on No. 15 Penn State in State College and then home versus No. 2 Ohio State.

Locksley opened up to Testudo Times’ Ben Dickson about the challenging schedule in November:

For us to take the next step, the next step is being consistent. We’ve been able to do that with becoming a consistent bowl-eligible team two years in a row. But that’s not the end-all-be-all, that’s not our destination. Our destination is to build a championship program around here, and the only way to do that is with consistency.

Maryland (6-2) has only two losses in the B1G, with a 7-point loss on the road to No. 4 Michigan and a 2-point home loss to Purdue. The Terrapins are currently on a 2-game winning streak. Maryland is coming off a bye-week in Week 9.

Maryland-Wisconsin kicks off Saturday at noon ET on BTN.
