The Maryland Terps are set to face off against B1G juggernaut No. 2 Ohio State.

Currently, Maryland sits at 6-4 and 3-4 in B1G play. On the other hand, The Buckeyes are 10-0 and 7-0 in conference play.

The Terps looked like they could potentially make some noise in the B1G early on, and they even had a chance at beating Michigan in Week 4. However, they have now lost two straight. After a loss to Wisconsin and shutout by Penn State, a win over the Buckeyes seems even less likely now.

It’s a tall task, but Mike Locksley has confidence that his group is up for it.

Maryland would love nothing more than to upset Ohio State and greatly hamper their playoff resume, no matter how unlikely it might seem. The last time the Buckeyes came to SECU Stadium, the Terps nearly up set them in a 1 point overtime loss, so anything can happen.

After two straight bad performances, quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa will look to prove that he can still play at the level that he displayed early on. If he returns to form, then the Terps might just have a fighter’s chance.
