Mike Morris, Michigan Edge, reveals plans for 2023 NFL Draft

Mike Morris has reached a decision on potentially coming back for another season in Ann Arbor.  Morris was a veteran leader on the Michigan defense this year.

Morris recorded 7.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and 23 total tackles in 12 games played this season. Morris was feeling very thankful to his Michigan family in his farewell letter.

“My career at Michigan can only be described as a true Michigan experience. I’ve went through plenty of lows, but those lows made me the man I am today. God has blessed me with amazing people in my life to help me on this next chapter in my life. After talks with my coaches and family I am entering my name in the NFL Draft. Go Blue!”

Morris led Michigan in sacks with the next closest player being Eyabi Anoma with 4. Morris also led Michigan in tackles for loss.

Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo and two of the more recent defensive players to come out of Michigan. It looks like another top defensive talent from Michigan is getting his chance to play at the next level.
