Mike Morris has a big goal in mind for the Wolverines this season.
Michigan improved to 7-0 after an impressive win over Penn State in Week 7. The Wolverines dominated in all aspects of the game and improved to 4-0 in B1G play. However, Morris thinks the Wolverines still have some doubters.
Mike Morris on Michigan establishing itself as a top program:
“We’re in the business of proving people wrong.”

Morris, a senior edge rusher, contributed 4 tackles and 1 pass defense in the win over the Nittany Lions.
Michigan was ranked No. 8 in the preseason AP Poll and is currently ranked No. 5 in the country. After staying perfect, the Wolverines hope to move up even higher in the rankings. The Wolverines clearly have not forgotten the disappointing end to their season in 2021.
The Wolverines will have a bye week in Week 8. In Week 9, Michigan State will travel to Ann Arbor for an in-state rivalry matchup.
