Completing the sweep of their two-game set, the Indiana Hoosiers defeated BC Mega, 64-53, in the Bahamas on Sunday afternoon.
Early in the contest, there was a scare for the program as redshirt junior forward Miller Kopp left the game with a right ankle injury and did not return.
After a nifty layup by Xavier Johnson, Miller Kopp went down and hushed the crowd. He got up and walked off. 8-2 #iubb

Kopp is up on his feet with the team during the timeout huddle. He has his right shoe off and a bag of ice on his ankle. Would not expect him to return based on that sight. #iubb

Fortunately, speaking to the media postgame, head coach Mike Woodson indicated Kopp will be good to go moving forward.

Indiana’s games in the Bahamas have not been aired on television nor broadcast on the radio. Woodson simply wanted to use the offseason to provide his team with a unique experience and pick up some game action against a new opponent.
A product of Houston (Texas) Christian, 2021-22 represents Kopp’s first season with the program, as he spent the last three years with Chris Collins’ Northwestern Wildcats. Kopp averaged 9.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 74 starts, including the last 56 games consecutively.
Announcing he would join the Hoosiers in April, the 6-foot-7, 215-lb. versatile scorer has two seasons of NCAA eligibility remaining.
Playing for iconic head coach Bob Knight in Bloomington from 1976-80, Woodson is in his first season at the helm of his alma mater. While this is his first foray into college coaching, he does have 23 years of NBA coaching experience, including stints as the head coach for the Atlanta Hawks (2004-10) and New York Knicks (2012-14).
