It’s just the next game on the schedule for Mike Woodson.
Assembly Hall was rocking Wednesday night as Woodson’s Hoosiers squad took down No. 18 North Carolina, 77-65. Indiana is now 7-0 on the season with wins over the Tar Heels and a good Xavier squad.
A reporter asked Woodson postgame if he thought it was a statement win for the program. His response was perfect.
Indiana coach Mike Woodson:
“It’s not a statement, man, it’s our schedule. We had to play Carolina, a great institution … It’s not a statement. We now have to start preparing for Rutgers and the Big Ten, because we know the Big Ten is a grind.” #iubb

Teams get to play Indiana, not the other way around. The Hoosiers are proving they deserve every bit of their Top 10 ranking and will likely soar higher when the next AP Poll comes out.
A taste at B1G play starts a litter early for the Hoosiers this year. Rutgers and Nebraska are next on the docket for Woodson and Co.
Can Indiana improve to 9-0 in the next week?
