Miles Bridges facing arrest warrant for violating protective order, per report

Miles Bridges has found himself in further legal trouble as he has had a new criminal summons issued against him, per ESPN.
According to Baxter Holmes, the summons was issued Wednesday following an alleged “series of events” on Oct. 6 that occured between Bridges and his ex-girlfriend, the mother of his children, violating a protective order filed against him. From Holmes’ reporting:
Bridges is accused of throwing billiard balls at her vehicle while the children were inside it, smashing the windshield and leaving dents in the car, according to the summons. He is also accused in the summons of threatening her that if she “told the police he would take everything from her and withhold child support” and that he “allowed his current girlfriend to yell, scream and kick the victim’s car while the children were inside it.” The summons does not say if the woman was in the car.
In June 2022, Bridges was arrested on multiple felony domestic violence charges after an argument with his children’s mother allegedly turned physical in nature. He served no time as he ultimately pled “no contest” that November and was sentenced to 3 years probation and community service.
The NBA also handed down a 30-game suspension for Bridges, which he will serve the remainder of for the first 10 games of the 2023-24 season.
