Minnesota will just finished a home-and-home in Colorado. In 2021, the Gophers will head back to the state.
This time, however, they’ll take on Colorado and not Colorado State.
The Gophers announced that they added a home-and-home with Colorado and BYU.
Minnesota will travel to Boulder for a game on Sept. 18, 2021 and the Gophers will host Colorado on Sept. 17, 2022. In three previous meetings, Minnesota is 0-3 against Colorado.
The Gophers will take on BYU in Minneapolis on Sept. 26, 2020 and travel to Provo, Utah on Sept. 20, 2025.
Minnesota is now compliant with the B1G’s new rule of playing one Power Five opponent in non-conference play every year. BYU is one of the independent teams that fills that requirement.
Fresno State is in good standing under that requirement through 2019.
