On Thursday night, Minnesota took on Michigan State and fought the Spartans tough. At halftime, the Golden Gophers trailed by four.
However, the Spartans broke away in the second half in large part due to point guard Cassius Winston.

Recently, Winston became the first player in the Big Ten to ever score 1,600 points and dish out 800 assists in a career. After what ended up being a 74-58 final score, Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo gave plenty of respect to the Golden Gophers:

Izzo knows what good basketball looks like. And despite the explanation behind it, we know that he likes what he sees from the Gophers.
