On a fourth quarter drive against the Oregon State Beavers, Minnesota Golden Gopher center Jared Weyler went down with a leg injury. But it does not appear to be a serious injury.
“We’ve got to be able to be smart with him, but no, it looks like he is going to be OK,” said coach P.J. Fleck to the Pioneer Press.
According the Pioneer Press, Fleck would not give much detail on what happened to Weyler.
When Weyler went down, redshirt freshman Conner Olson moved from right guard to center, with senior Vincent Calhoun coming in at right guard.
Minnesota’s offensive line was already thin. This injury, depending on the length, does not help with that problem.
