Minnesota drops intense spooky season hype video for road trip vs. Northwestern

Minnesota has hit its stride lately as the Gophers have won their last 3 games. The Gophers are 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in B1G play.

The Gophers are coming off of a 34-16 win against Maryland at home last Saturday. They have wins against Miami (OH), Colorado, Purdue, Nebraska and Maryland. Their losses are against No. 5 Ohio State and Bowling Green.

Minnesota is traveling to Evanston, IL, this weekend to take on Northwestern.
The Gophers released a Halloween-themed hype video ahead of the matchup with the Wildcats.

The Wildcats are having a down year after winning the B1G West just a season ago. They are 3-4 and 1-3 in B1G play; the Wildcats are coming off a 33-7 beating at the hands of No. 6 Michigan.

The Wildcats have wins against FCS Indiana State, Ohio, and Rutgers. They have losses against No. 8 Michigan State, Duke, Nebraska, and No. 6 Michigan.

The Gophers are 1st in the B1G West and control their destiny if they want to get to Indianapolis, IN, for the B1G Championship Game in early December. To get there, P.J. Fleck’s squad will also need to beat Iowa and Wisconsin down the road.

Minnesota goes on the road to face Northwestern tomorrow at 3:30 ET on BTN.
