Minnesota fans react to first win over Wisconsin since 2003

The Golden Gophers finally got over the hump!
It is not often that fans see a rivalry series so one sided for more than a decade. Unfortunately, that is the reality Minnesota fans had to endure as Wisconsin won 14 straight games in the series from 2004-17.
The good news is the Gophers can sleep well tonight after bringing Paul Bunyan’s Axe home after taking down the Badgers 37-15. Now that the Axe is back in Minnesota, fans can rejoice and celebrate, which they did on Twitter following the win:
