Now that the recruiting dead period is over, on-campus camps and meetings are underway with many recruits finally getting a shot at making a first impression.

One recruit that appears to be making a big impression early on is Swedish tight end Theodor Melin Öhrström. According to his Twitter bio, Öhrström is a 6-foot-6 and 242 lb. TE/WR out of Uppsala, Sweden for the class of 2023. He is in the process of making rounds at camps, racking up Power 5 offers in the process.

In the B1G, Minnesota offered Öhrström on June 3, and, according to Jeremy Birmingham with Lettermen Row, Ohio State offered him Tuesday. Based on early impressions, it is likely that other teams out of the B1G will also pursue Öhrström’s talents.
Other Power 5 teams to offer him early on include Kansas State, Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Alabama, and Florida State. Needless to say, it will be interesting to watch how Öhrström’s recruitment progresses. Stay tuned for more.
