Mohamed Ibrahim continues to impress, the Minnesota running back topping 100 rushing yards for a seventh straight game and twelfth time in his career.
Ibrahim has had a strong season from the start. The team’s leading rusher had 817 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns as a junior coming into Saturday’s game against Nebraska. And he didn’t disappoint this weekend, either.
In a Minnesota victory, Ibrahim hit the century mark again, marking seven straight games with 100 rushing yards. That marks ties a school record.
Mohamed Ibrahim now has 12 career 100-yard rushing games, which includes a current streak of seven in a row. Seven straight 100-yard game ties him with Laurence Maroney for the school record.

That record ties former Minnesota star Laurence Maroney, who was one of the all-time Gopher greats in the backfield. That’s pretty elite company to join.
Ibrahim has already had quite the season, setting the program record for most rushing touchdowns in a game (four against Maryland) as well as consecutive games with a rushing touchdown (eight).
