Top Minnesota recruits react to Tracy Claeys hiring

The whole point of hiring Tracy Claeys in the beginning of November was for recruiting.
Fans knew that, the coaching staff knew that and recruits knew that. If Minnesota didn’t keep Claeys on board, there’s no telling what could’ve happened to its 31st-ranked recruiting class.
With the news of Claeys’ three-year deal to stay in Minnesota, their top recruits voiced their feelings about the move.
