Minnesota tweet reveals Golden Gophers incredible offensive efficiency

Minnesota enters November undefeated, but most would say that the Golden Gophers running game at the beginning of October is what allowed the team to really take off. Over the last four games, Minnesota is averaging 293.25 rushing yards per contest.
While the rushing attack may be the best part of the Golden Gophers offense, a tweet from the program’s Twitter account Saturday morning revealed that Minnesota is first or second in a total of 16 offensive categories in the Big Ten. Furthermore, they are third or fourth in an additional four categories.

Minnesota hit its bye week this Saturday with an 8-0 record. Next week, the Golden Gophers will welcome another 8-0 team, Penn State, to Minneapolis for one of many can’t-miss games in the B1G during the final month of the season.
