The transfer portal has been pretty busy this season. The early signing period was an example of how crazy it can be.
However, not everyone is on board with the new transfer portal system. Minnesota football’s Coney Durr has been with the Golden Gophers for 6 seasons now.
He sustained a serious injury, and a coaching change in his time there. He stressed how important it is to “trust the process” when things get hard in a recent interview per Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press.
Quote: Coney Durr has persevered through a serious injury and coaching change to put in six seasons with #Gophers:
“With … (transfer) portal and stuff like that, it’s really important that a lot of guys just trust the process. Stuff is gonna be hard. You can’t run from hard.”

It’s rare to see people who disagree with the transfer portal rule. Durr is an example of what it looks like to stick with your team when the going gets tough.
That’s his message to a lot of other players, as well.
