The Buckeyes needed a strong performance from Williams, as the team was without star wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Williams responded by scoring 3 TDs before halftime. Williams added 2 more scores after the break, including a breakaway 70-yarder in the 3rd. This performance led to Williams’ first Player of the Week award.
The Buckeyes will travel to Michigan State next to play their first true road game of the season.
