Miyan Williams has been one of Ohio State’s featured running backs throughout the 2022 season. Unfortunately, Williams has been dinged up at times and was unable to carry a heavy workload in The Game against Michigan.

Williams and TreVeyon Henderson shared the workload at RB this season but both have been injured. Henderson has been ruled out for the College Football Playoff, but Williams is trending in the right direction for Saturday.

According to OC Kevin Wilson, Williams had his best practice in terms of overall workload on Monday. That is good news for the Buckeyes who will need to be balanced offensively to deal with Georgia’s defense.

Williams led the Buckeyes with 817 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns this season. He was limited to 8 carries for 34 yards against the Wolverines after getting injured in the win over Indiana.

Alongside Williams, Ohio State is likely to use Dallan Hayden and Chip Trayanum at RB. Hayden joined Williams and Henderson as Buckeyes to eclipse 100 carries and 500 yards rushing this season while Trayanum had 83 yards in the loss to Michigan.

Williams was a late scratch to Tuesday’s media availability for Ohio State players, but Trayanum downplayed the absence. According to Trayanum, Williams was just feeling a little under the weather.
