Miyan Williams was seen leaving the field after he suffered an injury in the first half of Ohio State’s Week 9 game against Penn State. Williams and TreVeyon Henderson have been the lead rushers in Ohio State’s backfield this season.

Later in the second quarter, Williams was seen with tape on what looked like his right pinky and wedding ring fingers. On the FOX broadcast of the game, it was stated that Williams is not ruled out for the game just yet, so it’s possible he returns to the field in the second half. Williams has played in six games for Ohio State thus far.

Williams leads the team in rushing yards this season with 516 from the games he’s played in. Henderson isn’t too far behind him with 474 yards rushing heading into Week 9.

Ohio State is down 14-13 at halftime with the Nittany Lions posting a strong effort. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes out about his status.

The Buckeyes may need to rely on Henderson this game instead if Williams is unable to come back into the game.
