Miyan Williams is out for the remainder of the game as Ohio State takes on Indiana on Saturday.

Williams went down to the ground and came up limping after a tackle in the second quarter. The injury appeared to be to his lower left leg and was thought to perhaps be a rolled ankle. The RB was able to get up, but was assisted off the field and was later carted to the locker room.

At the start of the third quarter, head coach Ryan Day told Jenny Taft with FOX College Football that the RB would be out for the remainder of the game, which was anticipated by many. Hopefully, this injury doesn’t linger for Williams.

Day also stated that he was “concerned” with the RB depth, as Ohio State is already shorthanded in the backfield with the absence of TreVeyon Henderson. In Williams’ absence, the Buckeyes will be relying on the services of freshman RB Dallan Hayden.

Fortunately for the Buckeyes, the game vs. Indiana is already well in control as the action gets ready to turn to the 4th quarter. The bigger concern now will be whether or not Williams is able to go in Week 12 and down the road.
