Mohamed Ibrahim is working his way up the Minnesota all-time rushing list.
In Week 10 against Nebraska, Ibrahim became just the 3rd Golden Gopher to eclipse the 4,000 career rushing yards mark. The other 2 players who have hit the mark are Rodney Smith with 4,125 and Darrell Thompson with 4,518.

Ibrahim already has the Minnesota record for rushing TDs, eclipsing Thompson’s mark of 40 touchdowns earlier this year. Late in the 4th quarter, Ibrahim had 28 carries for 109 yards and 2 TDs. Ibrahim has yet to be held under 100 yards in any game this season.
With 4 minutes to go in regulation, Ibrahim’s Gophers were up 20-13 over B1G West rival Nebraska. A win would clinch bowl eligibility for the Gophers.
