With a chance to rebound in a big-time, primetime game against Wisconsin, Michigan has come out of the gates looking like a complete trainwreck.
You could come to that conclusion based on Wolverine quarterback Joe Milton throwing two interceptions on Michigan’s two drives. Or you could go off of the yardage totals between the Badgers and Wolverines after one quarter, which are beyond astounding.

129-1. That’s not a typo. It’s been that lopsided. The only passes thrown by Milton that didn’t hit the ground were caught by Wisconsin defenders. Translation: Michigan had more turnovers (2) in the first quarter than total yards of offense (1).
Meanwhile, the Badgers look like they’ve hardly missed a beat despite a two-week layoff due to COVID-19. Despite punting on its first series, Wisconsin took advantage of two short fields in the first quarter as the Badgers capitalized and jumped out to a 14-0 lead.
At the beginning of the second quarter, Wisconsin tallied another touchdown to make it 21-0 and continue to stifle any hope of a Michigan comeback. That lead quickly grew to 28-0.
Leading up to kickoff, the Badgers were favored by about 7 points. That seems like a steal after one quarter of play. Good luck to the person running the Michigan football Twitter account.
