Nobody is a better basketball-football combination school in the country than Michigan State. Period.
Both have shared sustained success over the last five years that no other athletic program in the country can touch.
It should come as no surprise that when the Spartan basketball team picked up a huge comeback win against No. 4 Kansas at the United Center on Tuesday night, the focus immediately shifted to the football field.
The Spartan football team, in case you haven’t heard, has kind of a big game on Saturday against the defending national champions.
Tom Izzo broke down the postgame locker room celebration with a little shoutout to Mark Dantonio’s bunch.
