Multiple B1G matchups included in 247Sports’ ‘must-watch games’ of 2022

Kickoff is months away but that doesn’t prevent anyone from diving into future schedules. Already, fans and media alike are breaking down some of the best matchups for the 2022 season.
This week, 247Sports released its list of the 10 best games coming up for the 2022 season. There are three B1G games described under the “must-watch” label.
Ohio State, Michigan and Nebraska all received a mention for next season’s must-watch games. Here’s a look at the three B1G games that were recognized:
- Sept. 3: Notre Dame vs. Ohio State
- Sept. 17: Oklahoma vs. Nebraska
- Nov. 26: Michigan vs. Ohio State
A huge non-conference matchup kicks off the first weekend of the B1G season as former Buckeye and new Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman takes the Fighting Irish into Columbus. Seeing two premier programs in Week 1 is a great way to open the year.
Nebraska will host Nebraska in mid-September with hopes of turning the Scott Frost era around and notching a marquee victory over a very different Oklahoma team. The Sooners saw several players hit the transfer portal after Lincoln Riley left for USC and Brent Venables was hired as the next head coach. Still, it’s a chance for the Huskers to get a huge win.
No list would be complete without “The Game.” Michigan will travel to Columbus to play Ohio State in the season finale. Last year, the Wolverines earned their first win of the rival game under Jim Harbaugh. Ryan Day and the Buckeyes will be looking for revenge.
