After the pandemic forced the Manning Passing Academy to shut down a year ago, the camp is back in full force this summer. It started on Thursday, July 15 and will run through Sunday, July 18 in Thibodaux, Louisiana on the Nicholls State University campus.
Multiple B1G quarterbacks are participating in the camp as a counselors.
The list of camp counselors was released this week and four B1G quarterbacks are participating. Those three individuals are Sean Clifford (Penn State), Michael Penix Jr. (Indiana), Brandon Peters (Illinois) and Anthony Russo (Michigan State).
The Manning Passing Academy takes place more than a month before the start of the 2021 college football season. Fall camp will begin next month for colleges.
The Manning Passing Academy has been in place for over 25 years. The goal of the camp is to “help players fully realize their potential on and off of the football field.”
