The bowl game is played in Nashville, Tennessee and is currently sponsored by the Franklin American Mortgage Company. However, that sponsorship ends in 2019.
On Wednesday, the bowl announced the addition of a new title sponsor beginning in 2020. Next season, TransPerfect will takeover as the title sponsor. It is part of a multiyear agreement:

According to the press release, TransPerfect is “one of the worldwide leaders in translation services and technologies that enable businesses to reach audiences anywhere in the world and in any language.”
In terms of actual gameplay, the 2020 bowl game will begin a six-year exclusive partnership with the SEC and B1G. The Music City Bowl will slot in behind the CFP, New Year’s Six, Outback Bowl, and Citrus Bowl in the selection process:
The Bowl’s new Big Ten partnership will provide a Big Ten team each of the next six years in Nashville. Following the College Football Playoff and New Year’s Six selections, the Music City Bowl will have the third selection from the Big Ten, behind the Citrus Bowl and Outback Bowl, in 2020, 2022, and 2024 and sharing the third and fourth selections with the Las Vegas Bowl in 2021, 2023 and 2025.
The bowl already featured B1G vs SEC matchups from 2016-18, but it will be an SEC vs ACC showdown this season. Auburn is the reigning Music City Bowl champ after knocking off Purdue 63-14 in 2018.
