Myles Colvin and Purdue are taking on High Point in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The team is trying to go on a March run similar to last season when the Boilermakers made it all the way to the national championship before falling to UConn.

March Madness is all about big-time plays and incredible moments, and Colvin delivered an emphatic one with a dunk in the first half.

Camden Heide took a 3-point shot for the Boilermakers with the team up 6 with 2:35 seconds remaining in the first half. The shot came up short, but Colvin skied, grabbed the ball and threw it down in an electric fashion.

Colvin and the Boilermakers are trying to put the finishing touches on a Round 1 win, but High Point has not gone easily. The Panthers have been able to limit Purdue’s 3-point shooting, keeping the game close all afternoon long.

Colvin is the son of former NFL linebacker Roosevelt Colvin, who played his college football at Purdue. He was a 2nd team All-B1G in 1997, and a first team All-B1G selection in 1998. He played in the NFL for 10 seasons, winning 2 Super Bowls and being named to the All-Decade for the Chicago Bears All-Decade team in the 2000s.

The younger Colvin was able to showcase a similar athleticism to his father, and provided his family and college basketball fans all across the country with an exciting NCAA Tournament moment.
