Nate Stanley earns more national recognition for outstanding performance vs. Indiana

The accolades continue to pour in for Iowa quarterback Nate Stanley.

On Thursday, Stanley was named the Manning Award Quarterback of the Week for his monster performance against Indiana last Saturday, He was also named the B1G Offensive Player of the Week.

Stanley completed 21-of-33 passes for 320 yards and six touchdowns as Iowa defeated the Hoosiers 42-16, improving to 5-1 on the year.

For the season, Stanley is completing passes at a 62.4 percent mark and has thrown for 1,473 yards and 15 touchdowns with five interceptions.

Though he got off to a bit of a rough start, Stanley has really produced great performances over the last four weeks. He’s thrown for more than 300 yards in three of his last four outings and has two touchdown tosses in each of those games.

Stanley will attempt to keep things rolling this weekend as Iowa hosts Maryland.
