Ohio State is in another stratosphere when it comes to the work on the recruiting trail right now!
On Friday, Emeka Egbuka announced his commitment to the Buckeyes with a video on his personal Twitter page. Egbuka is rated as the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 9 player nationally per the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
It was a heated recruiting race with some speculating Egbuka going with Oklahoma. But in the end, it is another big-time commit for Ryan Day and his staff.
Here’s Egbuka’s video:

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 190 lbs., Egbuka looks like a complete package and the real deal at receiver. He now joins four-star prospects Jayden Ballard (No. 8) and Marvin Harrison Jr. (No. 15) as top-15 wide receivers to commit to Ohio State for the class of 2021.
Beyond the wide receiving corps, Egbuka gives Ohio State five, 5-star recruits for 2021. The class is No. 1 in the B1G and is rated No. 2 nationally, behind just Alabama.
Considering Ohio State also has the top-rated class for 2022 early on, the Buckeyes appear to be poised to dominate the B1G for a while.
