Naz Hillmon was a true star during her career for Michigan’s women’s hoops program. Now, she’s trying to carve out a role for herself in the WNBA.

Hillmon was selected by the Atlanta Dream during the 2nd round of the 2022 WNBA Draft. On Friday, Hillmon turned in a career-best performance.

Hillmon scored a career-high 13 points, the second game of her career scoring in double digits. She added 11 rebounds and a steal for her first career double-double while shooting 6-for-10 from the field.

Hillmon has appeared in 22 games so far for the Dream. During her time with the Wolverines, Hillmon was a two-time All-American, captured the B1G’s Player of the Year Award in 2021 and was a four-time team MVP. She also left Ann Arbor as the only Michigan player – men’s or women’s program – with 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.
