NBC September primetime schedule for B1G football revealed, per report

The primetime schedule for NBC’s B1G games in the month of September were revealed Tuesday, according to a report from Action network’s Brett McMurphy.
The B1G and NBC recently came to an agreement to air games on the popular network during primetime during the season, also including a streaming option on Peacock. Below are 3 of the games set to be aired on the network, per the report.
Big Ten’s NBC September schedule, sources told @ActionNetworkHQ, includes:
West Virginia at Penn State, Sept. 2, 7:30 p.m. ET
Charlotte at Maryland, Sept. 9, 7:30 p.m. ET

Are these the most riveting primetime matchups in the world? Not exactly, but that’s how the cards fell in the non-conference portion of the season. Big-time matchups are rare in the non-conference schedule now, with perhaps the biggest game of the first few weeks being Alabama’s matchup against Texas.
As for the B1G, Ohio State vs. Notre Dame might be the most exciting non-conference game of the early season.
