NCAA volleyball rankings: 7 B1G programs land on updated AVCA Top 25 (Sept. 5, 2022)

The latest NCAA volleyball rankings have been released with 7 B1G programs cracking the updated top 25.
When the AVCA coaches poll came out on Labor Day, Texas stood in the No. 1 spot and held 58 first-place votes. Nebraska was the first B1G team on the poll at No. 2 overall with the Huskers earning 6 first-place votes.
Minnesota was right behind Nebraska at No. 3 with Wisconsin, Purdue and Ohio State cracking the top 10. The Badgers are off to a 3-1 start coming off the national title in 2021 while the Buckeyes have scuffled a bit with a 1-3 record.
Meanwhile, the Boilermakers are in the top 10 after a 6-0 start to the 2022 campaign. Here are the B1G teams in the top 25:

- 3. Minnesota
- 6. Wisconsin
- 8. Ohio State
- 9. Purdue
- 20. Penn State
- 25. Illinois
