Neal Brown — head coach of West Virginia — was not happy with how the West Virginia-Penn State matchup ended in Week 1.

The Nittany Lions were up 31-15 with under 2 minutes left in the game. The team decided to go for it on 4th down anyway, and backup QB Beau Pribula scored a 5-yard rushing TD with 29 seconds to go.

After the game, Brown was asked about the sequence of events and voiced his displeasure.

“I wouldn’t have done it, but it doesn’t bother me… what comes around goes around. At some point, it’ll come back around,” said Brown.

It is worth noting that the Nittany Lions had reserves in the game and likely wanted to see how the players handled a late-game situation.

The Nittany Lions dominated for much of the night, finishing with almost 500 yards of total offense. Drew Allard played an excellent game and finished with 325 yards and 3 TDs.

The team will next play host to Delaware in Week 2.
