Nebraska AD Trev Alberts discusses head coaching search at Big Red Breakfast

Nebraska Athletic Director Trev Alberts has a very important job in front of him – replacing Scott Frost.
Thursday morning at the Big Red Breakfast, Alberts explained his process for looking into candidates and reassured the room a long process for finding he next head coach wasn’t going to be in vain.
Alberts described the Nebraska job as a diamond in the rough:
Trev: “Somebody is going to look at this job and say ‘wow, this is a diamond in the rough.’”

On top of that, he wants the Nebraska fanbase to know it is cared for. Given the loyalty of the Husker diehards, one would expect that gesture at the very least.

Only time will tell whether or not the Nebraska program will ever be back to its old ways.
