Week 1 of the college football season was a disappointment for Nebraska football, to say the least.
The Tuesday after, however, was great.
Dedrick Mills, a 5-foot-11, 196-pound RB from Garden City Community College, announced his commitment to the Cornhuskers on Twitter:

Mills, according to 247Sports, is the No. 1 RB recruit in the Class of 2019 in regard to junior colleges. He ranks as the No. 36 player nationally and No. 7 player from the state of Georgia.
From Waycross, Ga., Mills’ only other known scholarship offer to this point is from Arkansas State. Currently, Nebraska’s 2019 class consists of one other RB, excluding Mills — Rahmir Johnson, a 3-star recruit.
Nebraska’s 2019 class ranks as the No. 28 class nationally and No. 6 in the Big Ten. It will mark new coach Scott Frost’s first full recruiting class.
