Nebraska is in search of a 6th win this season to reach bowl eligibility. Through the first two quarters against Wisconsin, the Huskers are right on track to punch their ticket into the postseason.

For much of the second quarter, Nebraska held a 14-10 lead over the Badgers. Then, a late surge to end the half gave Nebraska a double-digit lead.

Facing a 1st-and-goal inside the final 30 seconds, quarterback Dylan Raiola was able to find Jahmal Banks up top. The pass was high with Banks going up to grab the pass and getting one foot inside the out-of-bounds line for the touchdown.

However, Nebraska wasn’t done there. The Huskers would force a quick turnover on Wisconsin’s possession with a forced fumble and recovery inside the Badgers’ territory.

Nebraska would not waste the opportunity. The Huskers would throw a quick connection to get closer before kicking a field goal to end the half.

It puts Matt Rhule’s team up 24-10 on Wisconsin heading into halftime and in a great position to secure Nebraska’s 6th win of the season.

Wisconsin has not scored more than 24 points since a road trip to Rutgers, giving the Badgers a stretch of 4 straight games with 23 points or less. They have just 2 Big Ten games all season with more than 23 points.

Is this the moment for Nebraska to break its postseason drought?
