It wasn’t comfortable, but Nebraska has its first win of the season, 30-23.

The Huskers led for the entire game, but Penn State had a chance to tie it up late in the fourth quarter.

With under a minute remaining, the Nittany Lions faced third-and-goal.

The result? Sack.

Then on 4th down, Penn State got to QB Will Levis again. This hit sealed the victory for Nebraska:

Nebraska had just enough in the tank to get the win. Quarterback Luke McCaffrey wasn’t perfect, but he was an improvement. He completed 13-of-21 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown. He also managed 67 rushing yards and another touchdown on the ground.

Penn State moves to 0-4 for the first time since 2001. The Nittany Lions will face Iowa next week.

The Huskers will look to improve to .500 on the season next week vs. Illinois.
