Nebraska baseball was hoping to get a chance to put a losing streak in the rearview mirror. Unfortunately, that will have to wait as Tuesday’s game did not last long before severe weather put an end to it.

The Huskers were able to get things started at home vs. Creighton. Nebraska even started the scoring in the bottom of the 3rd with an RBI groundout from Nick Wimmers.

Shortly after, the game went into a weather delay. Eventually, the game was called off due to inclement weather. According to Nebraska’s official Twitter account, an update on a potential makeup will be determined at a later date.

Nebraska entered Tuesday riding a 4-game losing streak that included a weekend sweep to Rutgers. The Huskers are 12-18 overall and 4-5 in the B1G so far this season.
