Nebraska picked up a transfer from DB Tommi Hill out of Arizona State in December of 2021. Jimmy Watkins of the Omaha-World Herald sat down with him and talked about what it’s been like so far.
Hill revealed that is playing with the starters in practice. However, he stated that the spot is open for anyone at the moment. At Arizona State, he logged 7 solo tackles in 11 games last season.
He also commented on what the transition to B1G football has been like. Based on his response, he should fit in the B1G pretty well. The Cornhuskers should love the level of enthusiasm that he brings to the table.
“I was never afraid to tackle,” said Hill. “I’ve got pads on. If I get hurt. I get hurt.”
