Nebraska has not had a great start to 2018.

The Cornhuskers are off to an 0-2 start after dropping a heart-breaker to Colorado and suffering a humiliating loss to Troy Saturday. It is absolutely not the start fans were hoping for under head coach Scott Frost, and the schedule will only get tougher moving forward.

Things may seem bleak for Nebraska, but DB Tre Neal offered a bit of insight into what may be plaguing the Cornhuskers. According to Neal, emotions have gotten the better of the Huskers over the first few games of the season. Remaining under control and remembering their technique should help the team rebound moving forward.

Reporter Christopher Heady with the Omaha World-Herald shared a screenshot of Neal’s comments:

Nebraska will travel to take on Michigan in a tough test next weekend.
