There’s a new title Ron Brown has with the Nebraska football staff.
According to his profile on Huskers.com, Brown is now a senior offensive analyst with the program. He is in his third stint at Nebraska, previously serving as an assistant coach from 1987-2003 and again from 2008-14. Brown rejoined the Huskers in 2018 as the director of player development.
In his role as director of player development, Brown was responsible for mentoring student-athletes in “off-field development areas,” per the team’s website. He also aided in community outreach efforts for the team.
Brown has been a member of three national championship teams with the Huskers. Brown worked alongside head coaches Tom Osborne, Frank Solich and Bo Pelini in previous times in Lincoln. Scott Frost is the fourth head coach Brown has worked with at Nebraska.
The Huskers completed the 2020 season with a 3-5 record.
