A Nebraska defensive lineman is electing to test the transfer waters. Junior Keem Green has declared for the transfer portal, according to HuskerOnline.

Prior to Green, senior offensive lineman Boe Wilson was the most recent Nebraska player to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 24.

Playing time for redshirt freshman Ty Robinson and sophomore Casey Rogers resulted in the 6-foot-5, 320 pound Green playing in only 39 snaps this season, 35 of which came during the first four games of the season.

Green appeared in 22 snaps during the 2019 season. Green has made four total tackles during his time at Nebraska. Green is a former 4-star prospect and will have two remaining years of eligibility.

Nebraska finished the 2020 season with a 3-5 record. Nebraska’s three victories came against Penn State, Purdue, and Rutgers.
