Nashville is famous for two things: country music and hot chicken.
At the Music City Bowl’s Welcome Party on Monday, Nebraska players and coaches got the opportunity to enjoy the city’s commodities, along with a little friendly competition.
Both players and coaches from both Nebraska and Tennessee took part in a karaoke contest, followed by a hot chicken eating contest. The Volunteers took home the singing title while the Huskers dominated the eating contest.
Here are a few videos and photos from what looked to be an enjoyable night:

Believe it or not, there will be an actual game played in Nashville between the Huskers and Volunteers. The Music City Bowl is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EST on Dec. 30. It’s only fitting that the winner of the game will also take home a 2-1 victory in the week’s total competitions.
Hopefully that eating contest doesn’t leave anyone too stuffed to take the field on Friday.
