There is a lot of uncertainty about Nebraska heading into 2022. A certain Cornhusker DB could have a breakout year and compete for the starting job per Evan Bland of the Omaha-World Herald.

McKewon made the prediction on his list of the Top 50. Clark is heading into his junior season in Lincoln. He has appeared in 28 games so far. Clark has 1 interception, 17 total tackles, 3 pass deflections, and 1 fumble recovery.

With his size alone he could be a threat on defense. Clark comes in at 6-foot-4, 195 pounds and has a lot of length. When healthy, Clark has played in every game of his career so far. The only time he has missed at Nebraska was in 2020, when he had a season-ending injury at fall camp.

If Clark can finally breakout and claim the starting job, he should be a reliable option for Scott Frost’s defense.
