Nebraska lands 2025 commitment from 4-star DL, No. 1 player from North Dakota

Nebraska landed a new commitment for its 2025 recruiting class on Sunday. The Huskers added a blue-chip lineman who hails from North Dakota.
Kade Pietrzak has pledged to play for Matt Rhule’s program. He shared the big news on Sunday via social media.

Out of West Fargo (North Dakota) High School, Pietrzak is listed as measuring 6-4, 250 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Pietrzak is rated 4-stars, the No. 1 player in the state of North Dakota, No. 35 defensive lineman and No. 321 prospect overall in the 2025 recruiting class.
Pietrzak is a sought-after recruit, drawing interest from Power conference programs coast to coast. He picked up scholarship offers from 27 programs before making his commitment to Nebraska. Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Iowa, Miami, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Stanford, Texas A&M, USC, UCLA and Washington are among the programs that showed interest during the process.
Pietrzak narrowed his focus over the past two months. He took visits to Nebraska, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Kansas State in May and June.
During his Lincoln campus visit, Pietrzak sported No. 55, offering Husker fans a preview of what he looks like sporting the team’s red and black jerseys.

With Pietrzak on board, Nebraska now has 17 verbal commitments in its 2025 recruiting class. Pietrzak is the fourth Husker pledge of the month, joining 3-star S Jeremiah Jones (July 1), 3-star OT Shawn Hammerbeck (July 3), and 4-star CB Bryson Webber (July 14).
